Years ago Bob gave me Kenneth Atchity’s treasure guide to Time, which it turns out, was right under my nose all along. Heaps of time! Atchity helped me organize my treasure and divide it between the various components of the writing process, such as brainstorming, free writing, first and second drafts, editing, etc.
Whether you have an hour in which to write a letter, a week to write a proposal, or a year to write a novel, Time must be apportioned and made to work for you.
I’m such a spendthrift, throwing my hours away like chump change. Time to dig out A Writer’s Time and get back on course.
